JAMES TALBERT
Citizens Akron Church | Akron, OH
James is a church planter and Lead Pastor at Citizens Akron in Akron, Ohio. He is a graduate of both Malone University and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. James also Teaches High School Bible at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. Go Royals!
James is passionate about reconciliation in the Kingdom of God, the city of Akron, good music and Cleveland sports. James and his wife, Julia, have been married for four years and love being the parents to their daughter, Jada.
TREY GRANT
The Well Church Keller | Keller, TX
Trey Grant, is a graduate of Hampton University (a historically black university) in Hampton, VA and has a Master of Religion from Westminster Theological Seminary (Dallas). Prior to full-time ministry, Trey spent four lucrative years in Sales-Management in Corporate America with several Fortune 500 companies. Trey served on the pastoral staff at Irving Bible Church in Irving, TX for six years, before launching The Well Church in Keller, TX back in 2015.
The Well Church is a socially conscious, mission focused, multi-racial church in the heart of Keller, TX. Pastor Trey's duties at The Well include giving overall vision and direction, raising up, training and equipping leaders, preaching and teaching. Trey is also the Executive Director of The Specs Movement, an organization birthed out of The Well, that creates healthy engagement around race in order to deconstruct racism, and produce anti-racist transformation. Trey has been married to Alice for twelve years and they have two beautiful children; Mason and Hannah.
LAMONT HARTMAN
Reconcile Church | Santa Ana, CA
Lamont Hartman is the lead pastor of The Reconcile Church, a multiethnic, multigenerational church plant in Santa Ana, CA. Lamont's vision/ministry is to see people live out the ministry of reconciliation, seeing people reconciled to God, to one another, and to the local church.
Lamont Hartman over 15 years of ministry experience in several of the largest and fastest growing churches in America ( see OUTREACH magazine 100), where he oversaw outreach departments that mobilized congregations towards marginalized communities. In addition, Lamont trained staff and lead conversations around equality, playing a role in helping these mega churches embrace biblical diversity.
Lamont is father to three beautiful children, Selah (10), Elsye (7), and Jackson (5). For a piece of candy (or anything sweet), his kids will quote bible verses.
COREY HUNKA
3rd Street Community Church | Canton, OH
Corey is the Lead Pastor and planter of 3rd Street Community Church, a multiracial community in Southeast Canton, Ohio. Corey is a graduate of Malone University with degrees in Youth Ministry, Sports Ministry, and Theology. Prior to church planting, Corey worked in many of Canton’s afterschool programs, Canton City Schools, and assisted with opening The Martin Center, a community center on 3rd Street SE. Corey is also the co-founder of EPIC, an annual, multiracial youth conference that celebrates how every person is crucial in the Kingdom of God. In addition to his work in ministry, Corey is a certified consultant for GiANT Worldwide, a leadership development organization committed to helping people and organizations work more effectively. Corey and his wife, Rachel, have been married for eight years and have three tough, smart, and beautiful girls, Sarah, Kaylee, and Jamie.
TELVIN HOWE
Emmaus Church Hampton Roads | Hampton, VA
For nearly 20 years, Telvin served on staff in various leadership roles at Bethel Temple Church in Hampton, Virginia. He has served as director of Bethel School of Leadership, youth and young adult pastor, interim children's pastor, creative planning team, teaching team, and led various community outreaches and justice initiatives.
His love for ministering to people has allowed him to travel and speak at multiple conferences, seminars, services, camps, and school assemblies across the United States. Telvin and Rebeca's ministry has also taken them to many countries such as Guatemala, Mexico, The Dominican Republic, China, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
In February of 2019, Telvin and Rebeca planted Emmaus Church Hampton Roads located in Hampton, Virginia. The church's heartbeat is to see people connected to God, one another, and to the local community to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the Hampton Roads area and beyond. It is committed to seeing true reconciliation and biblical justice happen inside and outside of the church.
Telvin and Rebeca reside in Hampton and have two very busy, wonderful boys, Grayson and Zayne. As a family, they love to hang out at the park, the beach, or anyplace outdoors.
VINCENT SMITH
The Circle Church | Alexandria, LA
Vincent is a church planter and Lead Pastor at the Circle Church of Alexandria, LA. He is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Vincent also serves as an administrator and JAG specialist at Pineville High School in Pineville, LA. Vincent is passionate about teaching God’s word and advancing the Kingdom of God to all people. He is a basketball fan, an avid sneakerhead, and enjoys reading a good book. Vincent and his wife, Casie, have been married for seven years and are the proud parents of their daughter, Nora.
